My biggest fear about early morning run is the fear of going late to work and the accompanying pain that comes with the gain. I was feeling frisky this morning and decided to go for a 30 minute run, got back feeling a little exhausted but strong enough to get set for work. Truth is, I’m actually glad I did and feel kind of silly for not doing this all along.
Getting out of my comfort zone was actually stressful when you consider the body pain but you see, the the reward is far greater. Good things hardly come easy and you have to push yourself out of that place of comfort to achieve anything in life.
There’s always the temptation to sit tight in one’s comfort zone, after all, it is the place you feel most at ease but the reality is that as a young person, your comfort zone is probably the most dangerous place to be in.
While you’re eating pizza and chilling in your comfort zone, the World is moving at a rapid pace and if you don’t pick up and start moving, you’re probably going to be left behind. It’s basically a straight choice between realizing your true potential or chilling in your safe zone. I trust you’ll make the right choice.
They say ‘necessity is the mother of all inventions’ but curiosity is the fundamental tingle that heralds improvement and innovation. Sitting in your comfort zone confines you to a safe space filled with virtually the same things. That monotony is both boring and anti-progressive. Make the effort to try new things, explore and find the staircase to the next level.
Try to give room for others’ opinions and views because it is another way to step out of your comfort zone. In this way you will learn and derive value from other’s opinion.
People can’t tell when they’ve been sucked into their comfort zone so they’ll never agree to being slaves to their own territorial interests. The kind of complacency we get makes us fail to realize there’s more to life than just our normal routines, which make us forget that life is supposed to be lived outwardly and not constrained to our hideaways.
Want to come out of your comfort zone? Start it by making yourself uncomfortable, by doing this you will discover hidden abilities you couldn’t gain access to.
Start with little things like going for a long hike, take driving lessons, go out with other people to new places. Over the years you will grow into taking bigger adventures and become more successful outside your comfort zone. Coming out of your comfort zone you will realize closed doors will begin to open.
You’ll sharpen unused skills that you may have restricted yourself from getting committed to them. You’ll become even more bold to laugh in the face of fear.
There will be no regrets ever leaving your comfort zone. You will eventually grow into yourself and experience much freedom. You will rediscover yourself and work on those flaws you had kept unchecked.
If you’d like to live outside of it, you should be ready to wake up parts of you that have been lying dormant for too long. Don’t rob yourself of the chance of getting a first hand experience of your true worth.
Don’t get too comfortable, don’t give room for it because if it becomes a routine, you’ll start feeling you have control over everything which is not always true. Don’t let the fear of stepping out of your comfort zone put you back to stagnation because what lies in the opposite of your safe zone is totally worth every try you’ll give it.
Such a mind blowing post..
I could read this over and over again because it feels like it’s talking to me.
Sometimes leaving one’s comfort zone can be tricky, but it feels that way when you don’t know your left from right. Comfort zone isn’t a good place to be in; getting overly comfortable will mess with your head and progress. Thanks for this.

Sometimes coming out of one’s comfort zone can be quite tricky. I remember when I wanted to take a job far from the state I grew up in, the job was a good pay but I was skeptical about leaving home since I had gotten used to living and doing everything from my birth there. Truthfully speaking it wasn’t easy, but the thing that made it easier was me bracing myself and moving to the next level. I left my comfort zone and since then I’ve not had cause to regret my action. I sometime wonder what would have become of my life if I had not left my comfort zone.
Well articulated post and educating too. Thanks for sharing this knowledge.
Very well articulated. The concept of innovation, achieving and performing comes from attempting what goes beyond the ordinary.
